The New Albany Symphony Orchestra’s fifth anniversary season brings classical music favorites to our community, featuring beloved works by Berlioz, Tchaikovsky, Vivaldi, and more. Featuring Grammy Award-winning musicians, violinist Hilary Hahn and cellist David Finckel, the ever-popular Holiday Spectacular, and professional Latin Dancers of Diamond Dance & Fitness and the Salsamante Dance Academy, the 2012-2013 season will be a musical tour-de-force, close to home in the heart of New Albany. The New Albany Symphony and the professional Latin Dancers of Diamond Dance Academy will present a high-energy program combining the rhythmic vibrancy and sensuality of Latin American music and dance. A la “Dancing with the Stars,” audience members will select the winning dancers via electronic voting in a high-tech concert that will have your Valentine shouting olé!
